The Falcon women traveled to Visalia on Friday, where they faced Reedley College in their opening game of the Sequoias Tournament. After a grind-it-out, do whatever it takes game, the Falcons prevailed, 71-67. The two teams were never separated by more than five points, despite the Falcons' shooting woes (33% on 24-of-73 shooting!). Even more shocking was their performance at the free-throw line, where they shot just 57% (19-of-33). But with sophomore Shay Boley back in the lineup after sitting out the first four games of the season with a concussion, the Falcons found a way to win. Boley led all scorers with 28 points and Alexis Zimmerman added 10 as the Falcons improved to 4-1.
