The CVC will be represented by four teams in the regional playoffs. Merced (26-3) earned the conference’s top seed at No. 2. Co-champion Sequoias was named the No. 4 seed, Fresno City (18-11) checks in at No. 12, and Reedley (15-12) avoids a play-in game as a No. 14 seed.
Approaching the midway point of the CVC schedule, Merced leads the conference standings at 5-0. The Blue Devils are currently riding a 15-game winning streak, including a decisive 90-70 victory over Sequoias in a first-place battle.
