Led by a second-place individual showing by freshman Avery Foster, Reedley College went on to earn a third-place team finish at the 2021 California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Women's Golf State Championship on Monday. The two-day event was held at the Cypress Ridge Golf Course in Arroyo Grande.
Foster shot an opening-round 73 on Sunday and followed that with a tournament-low four under-par 68 on Monday to finish with a card of 141.
Foster was joined by teammate Mya Chao in the top-15, as she shot 80-79---159 to finish in 12th place.

Fresno City College and Taft College were both represented by two golfers playing as individuals at the tournament.
For FCC, Sydney Crass shot 78-87---165 to finish tied for 19th place and Gianna Grotto was 27th with her card of 86-83---169.
Taft's Alyssa Irey finished tied for 21st to lead the Cougars as she shot 85-81---166 while Ayla Keith tied for 40th with her 93-93---186 card.
