Central Valley Conference play begins on Wednesday with four matches scheduled. Fresno City enters the CVC schedule having won 112 straight conference matches and the last 12 CVC championships. The Rams are 8-1 in non-conference action this season. Columbia is unbeaten after two matches this season while Sequoias is off to a good start at 6-3.

CCCWVCA Week #3 State Athlete of the Week:
Taylor Dilley, Fresno City
Taylor Dilley (Freshman, Clovis East High) was named CCCWVCA NorCal Athlete of the Week. She has been an impressive pin hitter for #3 Fresno City as she led the Rams to four victories last week. She totaled 50 kills, including double-doubles in kills/digs in three of the matches, 48 overall digs and served six aces.  Among the wins for Dilley's FCC team were over three ranked teams--#7 West Valley, #16 Folsom Lake and #22 Sierra.
