A sixth inning rally and superb starting pitching were the key ingredients in Folsom Lake softball's 6-1 non-conference victory over Merced on Wednesday afternoon in Merced. Falcon starter Adriana Gonzalez went the distance to earn the win, allowing just one run on three hits over seven innings. Sydnee Verlin continued her hot hitting streak with three hits and two runs scored, and Mikaela Pamplona provided the key two-run double in the sixth that put the Falcons up 4-1. Olivia Dominguez, Sachi Reyes, and Haylee Reginato all chipped in with two hits apiece as the Falcons pounded out 10 hits against the Blue Devils.
