As a team, the Bulldogs shot 49 percent from the field while limiting Porterville to a 46 percent showing. AHC also held a slim 37-32 advantage on the boards and registered 44 points in the paint, but struggled with ball handling after committing 25 turnovers.

Vondre Chase also finished in double figures after adding on 17 points and a team-high of seven rebounds. Matt Solomon closed out the top scorers with 16 points while also tacking on six rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

Hancock was originally set to face Chabot on day three of the AHC Holiday Classic but had to postpone the contest due to COVID-related issues for the Gladiators. The Bulldogs will now return to action on Wednesday, January 5th, for the league opener against Moorpark College. Tip-off is set for 5 PM inside of the Joe White Memorial Gymnasium.
