The Men's Basketball team opened up their 2019-2020 campaign with a home game against Merced Friday afternoon. The Panthers dropped their season opener 77-68. 

Montez Swann led the Panthers in scoring with 24 points. Daniel Bost recorded 11, while Chino Johnson, Latrell Pace and Cisco Narewski all chipped in with seven points.

Hartnell will be back in action on day two of the Hartnell Classic Saturday Nov. 9. They face San Jose City at Hartnell Gym. Tip off is at 2 p.m. The Jaguars played Monterey Peninsula this afternoon and lost 76-67.
