The American River College Women's Soccer program opened up the 2024 season at home against College of the Sequoias on Friday.

Unfortuantely, College of the Sequoias spoiled the Beavers home opener and took home a 3-0 victory.  After a goal by College of the Sequoias in the 2nd minute of play.  The Beavers regained their composure and created opportunites, but could not translate these opportunities into points on the scoreboard.  

With just a 1-0 lead in the second half, College of Sequoias added goals in the 59th and 62nd minutes to extend their lead to 3-0 and move to 1-0 on the season.  The Beavers drop to 0-1 but will seek to bounce back on the road on Tuesday, August 27th, as they travel to play Butte College at 2:00 PM.
