The Beaver's split the double-header against Merced on Tuesday. In the first game, the Beavers were victorious 7-2. They were led offensively by Taylor McKay and Kellie Capps who scored 2 runs each. Alexis Watson added 2 hits to Beavers ended up with 12 hits in the win. McKay added to her good offensive game by only allowing 2 runs in 7 innings!
In the 2nd game, the Beavers lost a heartbreaker 9-10. The Beavers took a 5-2 lead after the 2nd inning. Merced took a 7-5 lead by the end of the 5th inning. Then the game entered the 7th inning Merced leading 9-8. ARC would get the run needed to tie it up 9-9. Then, with 1 out left in thr 7th, Merced got the walk off run they needed to take down the Beavers.
