The Men's Basketball team traveled to take on Porterville on Monday night. It was a tale of two halves as the Panthers jumped out to an early lead and went into halftime up 53-42, only to see their lead dwindle and fall to the Pirates 90-79. The Panthers had some great performances with Daniel Bost leading the scoring with 33 points hitting eight 3-pointers. Miguel Velez chipped in a double-double finishing with 14 points, 18 rebounds and six assists. Marus Granger added 12 points and four rebounds. Brenden Cannon had 11 points and six rebounds. The Pirates turned the tables on the Panthers in the second half outscoring them 48-26.
The Panthers dropped to (4-10) on the season and will look to get back on track after winter break. They will return to action on Jan. 3 versus Las Positas before opening up Coast Conference-South play against Cabrillo on Jan 8.
