With two of the best defensive teams squaring off on Friday, the Cerritos College men's soccer team was able to slip a shot into the net in extra time to come away with a 1-1 draw. The Falcons (3-2-1) return home on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. to host Golden West College.

Trailing 1-0, and time running out, sophomore Pedro Reyes (Connections Academy HS/Cal State Fullerton) salvaged the game with a goal in extra time. The two teams played a very tight game defensively, so the goal by Reyes was met with huge congratulations from his teammates.

On the day, freshman goalie Griffin Welch (Long Beach Poly HS) was up to the task and turned away all three Taft shots.
