This Wednesday, the Reedley College women's basketball team opens a new season at Hartnell College in Salinas.

The season-opening week continues as coach Dan Kilbert's squad faces LA Harbor in the LA Harbor crossover and Oxnard College on Friday.

The LadyTigers home season begins at 5:00 p.m. next Tuesday against Modesto.

The 11- woman Reedley roster features for sophomores and seven freshmen. The Tiger) roster features 6-2 center Manpreet Kaur (Fowler), one of the Tigers' leading scorers and rebounders last season.

Other sophomore guards include Chastiy Martinez (Clovis East)  Selena Torres (Parlier), and Annie Lopez (Sanger) According to the Tiger athletics website, the remaining freshmen include Zulu Omawahleh (Edison), Mia Garcia (Hoover), KeAira Lerrell-Harris (Bakersfield-Golden Valley), Maikaiyah Randle (Bakersfield-Ridgeview), Pearl Hill (Palmdale), Maryon Hodges (Golden Valley- Bakersfield) and Pamela Jimenez (San Jose).
