Women's Basketball Ends 2022 Season With 4 Home Games

Reedley College will finish its 2021-22 women's basketball season with four straight home games.

The first of the four was played on Monday night, as the Tigers dropped a 70-60 decision to Central Valley Conference champion College of the Sequoias. It was the second loss of the week to the Giants. Four Tigers scored in double figures with Annie Lopez and Amanpreet Kaur each scoring 14. Kaur added seven blocked shots and 11 rebounds. Makaiyah Randle followed with 12 points while Chastity Martinez added 11.

On Feb. 16, Reedley hosts Fresno City College at 7 pm before a 5 p.m. makeup in Reedley with Merced College Thursday and a 7 pm Friday matchup with Porterville College. The Tigers finish conference play on Friday although some teams continue to play next week. Reedley is currently 3-6 in conference action and 7-16 overall. Reedley dropped a 71-44 decision on Feb. 9 and an 80-57 count to Merced on Saturday
