Thanks to a 4-1 win over Clovis, Fresno City remains perfect in conference play with a 5-0 record to lead the CVC standings. Clovis at 4-1-1 and Taft at 3-1-1 trail closely behind to round out the top three.

No. 5 Fresno City is the top-ranked CVC team in the most recent (Oct. 9) CCCSIA State Rankings. Clovis also checks in tied for the No. 15 spot. In the United Soccer Coaches Junior College Division III National Poll, FCC is No. 2 with Clovis at No. 16.
