There's no doubt that Reedley College women's soccer coach Onests Francis has his team ready for the 2021 season. In the opener Friday night in Reedley, the Lady Tigers rolled to a 12-0 non-league victory over Cerro Coso College of Ridgecrest.

Both  Denise Elias-Martinez and Mariela Cruz scored three-goal hat tricks in the first half for Reedley, as Sumiko Sunamoto scored on an assist from Perria Edmond in the sixth minute.

Also finding the back of the net for the tigers were Evelyn Martinez Isabella Baez, Amber Becerra, Charizma Sunamoto, and Edmond, who added two assists.

Competition is expected to get tougher for Reedley this week, as the Tigers hosted Allan Hancock on August 31st and host Merritt College from Oakland on Friday.
