REEDLEY --- West Hills College Lemoore overcome a slow opening first quarter to defeat Reedley College on the road by a final score of 64-49 on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles bounced back from Wednesday night's loss at College of the Sequoias, an 83-76 setback in Visalia.
In the COS loss, Jada Heights scored a team-high 20 points to go along with 7 rebounds. Audrey Gonzalez Alvarez came off the bench to total 19 points, 6 rebounds, 6 steals, and 4 assists while Sade Booker-Honeycutt had 15 points.
With a 4-1 Central Valley Conference record, West Hills leads the standings as the Golden Eagles head into Monday night's 7 p.m. CVC game against Merced College at home. The game can be viewed online at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEy5MAl9Ig0.
