It was a very busy week for the No. 1 (South) Hornets with long bus rides while facing the top teams in Northern California.
On Monday, FC traveled to Ridgecrest to take on Cerro Coso College and beat the Coyotes 95-61.
Thursday was Fullerton's biggest test of the season, when the Hornets faced the No. 1 (North) San Francisco Rams winning in overtime 105-102. The game was part of the College of the Sequoias Crossover where FC would eventually play the No. 2 team in the North COS Giants.
The very next day FC battled with the College of the Sequoias and fended off the Giants 67-61. A well-balanced attack had four Hornets scoring 14 points each in Sean Newman Jr. (7 assists/5 rebounds), Jeremiah Davis (3 rebounds/3 steals/2 blocks), Shaquil Bender (4 rebounds/2 assists), and Kobe Newton (6 rebounds/2 assists).
Up Next: The Hornets (6-0 overall) host No. 15 Santa Monica College on Wednesday, November 23rd at 6:00 pm. Watch the game live and free here!
