Compton, Calif. - The first win for Compton College Athletics in 2021 is in the books as men's soccer takes their home opener against West Hill Lemoore 4-1.
The team spread the workload around as four separate Tartars each scored a goal in this game. In the first half both Jose Perez and Jason Martinez scored, second of the season for Martinez, and then in the second half Angel Gonzalez and Russell Avila both scored with Justin Martinez providing the assist to Avila late in the game.
The Tartars (1-0-1) hit the road next to Cuyamaca this Friday, September 3 at 4 p.m.
