Ryan Da Rocha's goal in the 84th minute proved the be the game-winner for Clovis Community College as the Crush held on for a 1-0 Central Valley Conference win at West Hills College Lemoore on Tuesday.
Clovis won its second straight to improve to 4-8 overall and even its CVC record at 2-2.
The Crush and Golden Eagles battled for a majority of the contest but neither team was able to find the back of the net until late. Luis Martinez and Ashton Benbrook combined on the assist for Da Rocha's second goal of the season.
Goalkeeper Cresencio Arreola and the Crush defense posted Clovis' second straight shutout.
The Crush are back in action on Friday (Oct. 15) when they travel to Fresno City College for a Central Valley Conference game.
