The Long Beach City College men's soccer team fell to the Taft College Cougars 1-0 on Tuesday afternoon. Playing in the scorching heat, the Vikings were scoreless in the first half, but then fell in the 77th minute.
Goalkeeper Ryan Swan totaled four saves against five shots against the Cougars.
Forwards Diego Albanez, Miguel Arroyo, Arnold Giron and Jose Ventura all had shots on the Cougar cage, but unfortunately were not able to complete.
The Vikings will be back in action on the KLAC field on Friday, Sept. 2 at 6 p.m. against Cuyamaca College.
