Women's Basketball Wins On The Road

Thanks to a pair of forfeit wins over Taft last week, the Reedley College women's basketball team made it three straight wins Monday night with a 69-50 win over Porterville in Porterville.

Coach Dan Kilbert's Lady Tigers improved to 3-3 in the Central Valley Conference and 7-13 overall with the wire-to-wire win, which broke an on-court 10-game losing streak. Amanpreet Kaur had seven blocked shots in the win. Makaiyah Randle led the winners with 16 points and eight rebounds.

The Lady Tigers return to the court on Wednesday, Feb. 9 with a 7 pm contest at College of the Sequoias before going to Merced on Saturday for a 5 pm contest. They finish the season with four home games in five days, hosting Sequoias on Monday, Feb. 14, Fresno City on Feb. 16, Merced on Feb. 17, and Porterville on Feb. 18. Because of Covid concerns, no spectators are allowed at the home games.
