The Clovis Community College men's soccer team jumped out to an early lead but couldn't hold on in a narrow 2-1 loss to visiting Foothill College on Wednesday.
Tyler Ferguson gave the Crush an almost instant lead, scoring in the third minute of the contest off the assist from Stephan Morris.
Clovis held the 1-0 advantage at halftime before Foothill got the equalizer in the 48th minute and went ahead for good in the 57th thanks to a goal by David Cruz.
Clovis dropped to 1-5 overall this season. The Crush will look to snap a three-game losing streak when they return to action on Saturday (Sep. 25) at home against San Bernardino Valley. Opening kick is set for 11 a.m.
