After being swept by the third-ranked team in the state three days earlier, the Reedley College Tiger women's volleyball team had a little fun Saturday by hosting an Alumni match.

The Orange team outlasted the Black team 15-25, 25-18, 25-22, 20-25, 15-13. Heather Morris, a member of the 1995 conference champion Tigers, anchored the Orange team roster. She was joined by current Tiger assistant coach Madison Leighty (2014), Tauheedah Smith (2002), Beatrice Jimenez (2017), Alisha Green (2009), Erica Bueno (2011) and Autianna Hall (2015).

Current Tiger head coach Mariah Roby (2009) led the Black team roster. She was joined by Ashley Martinez (2003), Rae Dukes (2014), Zugey Ornelas (2009), Britini Lujano (2009), Krissy Velasquez (2012) and Madison Monis (2018).

On Oct. 2 in Fresno, the 2019 Tigers dropped a 25-3, 25-11, 25-3 to the third-ranked Rams. No Tiger statistics were available.

Reedley (0-5, 1-7) returns to the court on Wednesday, Oct. 9 as they host West Hills Coalinga (4-2, 7-3) at 6 pm before traveling to Porterville on Friday, Oct. 11. The Tigers close out the first round of CVC action hosting College of the Sequoias on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
