The Santa Monica College Women's Basketball bounced back from two losses in the Pasadena College Sisterhood tournament to pull off a win over Porterville College 57-41.  

The Corsairs led from start to finish to get the win.  

SMC was led by Maya Stokes (27 points, 7 rebounds, 6 steals and 4 assists) and KJ Hudson (10 points, 11 rebounds)

Stokes was honored after the game for setting a tournament record for scoring against Palo Verde College.

SMC return to the court for their home opener Thursday November 9 at 1:00 p.m. vs. San Diego Mesa College.
