LOS ALTOS HILLS – The Clovis Community College men's soccer team continued its impressive start to the 2022 season. On Tuesday, the Crush played Foothill College to a 1-1 draw on the road.
Over seven games, Clovis has lost just once and moved to 5-1-1 overall. The Crush will next begin Central Valley Conference play on Sep. 30 against Merced College at 4 p.m.
On Tuesday, Clovis and Foothill battled in a scoreless first half but both offenses found the back of the net in the second.
Foothill struck first in the 67th minute, getting a goal by Miguel Davila to take the lead. But moments later in the 73rd, the Crush got the equalizer from Raul Garcia thanks to the assist from Maurisio Marquez Martinez.
Peter Vainauskas was solid in goal once again for Clovis.
