Reedley College women's volleyball won the opening set in Merced on Sept. 25 but dropped the Central Valley Conference match 23-25, 25-15, 25-10, 25-12 to the Blue Devils.

The loss dropped Coach Mariah Roby's Tigers to 0-3 in the CVC and 1-5 overall.

Reedley returns to the court on Friday as they host West Hills Lemoore (0-2, 0-6) at 6 pm.

We came out very strong in the first set," said Coach Roby. "Unfortunately, we were unable to maintain the necessary intensity and fight it takes to close a match. I am confident that Friday's match at home will be a different story."
