TAFT, CA – Taft College Cougars Men's Soccer Team entered their matchup against Santa Barbara College on September 24 looking to build on a recent win and a tie from the previous week. After a competitive 1-1 tie against Cerritos College, the team felt confident and eager to start the week strong.

Both teams showcased their skills early on, trading aggressive plays in the first ten minutes. After an intense 45 minutes of great soccer play, the first half concluded with a scoreless draw, 0-0.

The second half intensified, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats, but despite the effort from both sides, the game ended in a stalemate at 0-0.

Taft College will now shift its focus to their upcoming away game against Oxnard College, where they will need to prepare both mentally and physically to secure a win and maintain their undefeated streak for the week.
