"The most aggressive team usually wins, and we were by far the most aggressive team. We dropped our turnovers to 19, way less than we had been committing and took good shots. I was incredibly pleased with our performance," said Coach Jackson.

"Overall playing against tough teams like this in the preseason will prepare us for the always competitive Golden Valley Conference schedule. Our last two opponents are some of the top teams in the state," said Head Coach Derrick Jackson. "We played them really close in spurts. Once we figure out how to compete the entire forty minutes, we will be a much better team. We need to cut down on our turnovers and fouls. The extra possessions and made free throws, by our opponents are really putting us in a hole."

The Lady Cougars improved to 3-7. They are heading into an off week and will be back in action on Monday, November 28 against host Hartnell College.
