PORTERVILLE – West Hills College Coalinga wrapped up a solid week of Central Valley Conference play with a 3-0 sweep at Porterville College on Wednesday. This came two days after the Falcons earned the same result, another 3-0 victory over visiting Reedley College on Monday.

The two wins evened up West Hills' conference record at 5-5 and moved the Falcons to 8-7 overall. West Hills currently sits in fourth place in the CVC standings.

West Hills won the match at Porterville by scores of 25-19, 25-16 and 25-20. Sariya Harris had 8 kills and 12 digs, Lexie Canales totaled 16 digs and 6 kills, Sarah Toles contributed 6 kills, and Kalissa Ortega added 17 assists.

The Falcons defeated Reedley 25-15, 25-9, 25-14 on Monday.  Canales had 10 kills and Ortega posted 27 assists.

West Hills returns to action on Wednesday (Oct. 26) when the Falcons host Columbia College in a 5 p.m. Central Valley Conference match.
