Falcons Soar Past Pirates in Commanding Win
PORTERVILLE, CA – The Folsom Lake College Falcons continued their strong season with a dominant 13-3 victory over the Porterville College Pirates on Tuesday. A relentless offensive attack and solid pitching helped the Falcons secure a comfortable win on the road.
Folsom Lake wasted no time getting on the board, scoring in the first inning and steadily building their lead. A five-run fourth inning broke the game open, with Asa Martinez delivering a key two-RBI single. Dylan Green led the offensive charge, going 4-for-5 with four runs scored and an RBI. The Falcons capitalized on Porterville's defensive miscues, with several runs scoring on errors and sacrifice flies.
On the mound, Nolan Lawrie set the tone for Folsom Lake, pitching six strong innings while allowing just one run on three hits and striking out four. The bullpen followed up with solid relief work, limiting the Pirates to just two additional runs the rest of the way.
Porterville struggled to generate offense, collecting only four hits in the game. Jimmy Martinez provided a lone bright spot with an RBI single in the sixth, but the Pirates couldn't keep pace with Folsom Lake's potent lineup.
