College of the Sequoias won its first men's soccer Central Valley Conference championship in the history of the program, going 6-3-1 in conference play to edge Fresno City College and snap the Rams' five-season CVC title run.
The improbably conference championship came after COS opened the season with a 2-7-2 overall record, including going 0-3 in the Central Valley Conference to begin play. But the Giants went unbeaten over their final nine games (8-0-1), including surging to a 6-0-1 record in conference to close out the regular season.
Fresno City was second at 5-3-2, followed by Merced College (4-3-3), Clovis Community College (4-4-2), Taft College (3-4-3), and West Hills College Lemoore (2-7-1). Final Standings
