Led by freshman Destanie Blair, the Fresno City College women's golf team moved into first place in the Central Valley Conference with a win over West Hills College-Lemoore.

The Rams won by seven strokes in a match played Thursday (Oct. 12) at the Sunnyside Country Club.

"It's nice to see their hard work paying off," said Head Coach Danny Paniccia. "We are trending in the right direction!"

The Rams now lead the standings with just three conference matches remaining in the season.
