Reedley finishes fourth at CCCAA Women’s Golf State Championships

Reedley College shot a two-round card of 341-344–685 to finish in fourth place at the 2022 California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Women's Golf State Championships. The two-day event concluded on Monday and was held at the Morro Bay Golf Club in Morro Bay.

The Tigers were led by freshman Keahana Castillo and her fourth-place individual finish. She shot 81-79–160 to earn All-State honors.

Castillo (pictured, left) was followed by Maddie Reed in a tie for seventh (80-83–163), Gabrielle Jasso in a tie for 26th (91-83–174), Meghan Hansen in a tie for 33rd (89-89–178), and Melanie Davilla in a tie for 44th (94-97–191).

Reedley earned its spot at the State Championships thanks to a second-place showing at the Northern California Regional Championships. Reed claimed medalist honors for the Tigers, shooting a two-round 150 to win the Northern California individual title.
