Clovis Community College had three of the top six runners and won the women's team title at the 2018 Central Valley Conference Championships. The event took place on Oct. 26 at Woodward Park in Fresno.

Clovis was the lone squad to compete with a five-member team and was named conference champion for the first time.

The Clovis women's squad has qualified for next week's Northern California Regional Championships that are set for Nov. 2 at Shasta College in Redding. Sequoias and Fresno will also send individual runners to the regional meet as well.
